First Annual Gala Dinner Dance
Our first annual gala dinner dance and awards ceremony on May 10, 2008 at Gaelic Park was a great success. Consul General of Ireland Martin Rouine was at hand to deliver awards to Billy Lawless Chairman of the Chicago Celts for Immigration Reform for greatest contribution to the community in 2008. GAA man Joe Begley also picked up the award for Sports Personality of the Year in 2008. Many congratulations to our 12 other nominees who enjoyed the evening's festivities long in to the wee hours.
